Al Qarra - On Wednesday, Prime Minister of Kenya Raila Odinga asked the international community for help in the fight against poaching.

The request came a few days after the massacre of eleven new elephants in the heart of Tsavo National Park in the southeast of the country. According to the Kenya Wildlife Service, some 360 elephants were killed in the park last year, almost one per day. The figure is up from 289 in 2011.
