Canadian-Pakistani cleric Tahir ul-Qadri continues to galvanise massive support and demands the ouster of both Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and President Asif Ali Zardari. Qadri on Wednesday (Jan 16) invited Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chief Imran Khan to join his protests. Qadri also clarified that he is no way linked to the Pakistani Army to derail upcoming elections as speculated by some political parties. On Tuesday (Jan 15), Imran Khan, cashing on political turmoil generated by the Pakistan Supreme Court's order to arrest the Prime Minister, also demanded the immediate formation of a caretaker government and the holding of polls on time.
