On 9 April 2004, a US Drug Enforcement Agent delivered a presentation on gun safety to a group of adults and students in Orlando, Florida. At one point the agent picked up a .40-caliber service sidearm and held it up for the audience to see as he announced: “This is a Glock 40. “Fifty Cent,” “Too Short,” and all of them talk about a Glock 40, Ok. I’m the only one in this room professional enough, that I know of, to carry this Glock 40.” He showed the weapon and then moving his arm down he shoots the weapon striking himself in the leg. After asking, “Is everyone alright?” He gamely limped around the front of the room trying not to draw attention to his injury and continuing with his gun safety presentation. He calls for his assistant to hand him an automatic rifle. A girls voice calls out from the audience, “Put it down.”
The US Drug Enforcement Agency started to investigate after the video was posted online to find who made the video of the undercover secret policeman who was not supposed to be photographed, or videoed.
