Add funds to your Steam Wallet

Funds in your Steam Wallet may be used for the purchase of any game on Steam or within a game that supports Steam transactions.

You’ll have a chance to review your order before it’s placed.

Adding Funds to Your Steam Wallet:
Add funds via Steam

Log in to your Steam account.
Click the [Your username]'s Account link in the upper right hand corner to be directed to your account details.
On the right hand side of your account details page there is a blue box that displays your current Wallet Balance.
Directly under the Wallet Balance, there is a link to add funds to your Steam Wallet

Viewing Current Steam Wallet Balance

Log in to your Steam account.
The current available balance will be listed in the upper right hand corner next to [Your username]'s Account.

Note:

Funds added to the Steam wallet will be used for the next purchase(s) to the Steam account. Once depleted, another form of payment can be used.

Recently Added Wallet Funds Have Not Appeared

In most cases, the new funds will automatically be displayed in your account. If the issue persists for more than two hours after completing your transaction, please do the following:

Restart the Steam Client
Ensure that you have logged in to the correct account that the purchase was made to.
If the updated amount is still incorrect, please contact Steam Support for assistan
