US President Barack Obama is due to sign the legislation adopted by Congress to temporarily defuse the country's fiscal crisis. Politicians agreed on more than $600bn in savings, but that figure is just a fraction of what is needed to deal with the country's enormous debt. Al Jazeera's Tom Ackerman reports.
