One man has taken a unique approach to land a wife.

82-year-old Sandy McCulloch wears a sign around his neck which reads “Wanted: A Wife.” The bottom of the sign states “This is not kidding”. The elderly man frequently showcases his sign around his hometown of Corvallis, Oregon. McCulloch has been married three times thus far, but claims that he has changed his ways and is looking for his true soul mate.

He hopes to find a lady over the age of 60, with a sense of humor who enjoys reading. She must also reside in Corvallis. But McCulloch proves that it’s hard to teach an old dog new tricks.

He states “If a gorgeous 40- or 50-year-old came along and said, ‘I’m too young, but I want to be your wife,’ I’d probably do it”.

Good old-fashioned signs still garner attention nowadays. Earlier this year, a woman put her house up for sale with a revealing, unique sign on the front lawn.
It read, 'Husband left us for a 22 Year Old...House for sale by scorned, slightly bitter, newly single owner”.
