A new trailer of the latest big screen adaptation of "The Great Gatsby" gives a sneak peek into the world of F. Scott Fitzgerald's famous novel envisioned by director Baz Luhrmann.
For the movie the man behind "Romeo and Juliet" and "Moulin Rouge" created his own visual interpretation of the Roaring Twenties, an era of glitzy jazz, bootleg kings, and fast-rising stocks.
The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio in the title role of Jay Gatsby -- and Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway, the would-be writer who moves next to the mysterious millionaire.
Also in the movie is actress Carey Mulligan as Nick's cousin Daisy, and Joel Edgerton in the role of her blue-blooded husband, Tom.
The film was initially scheduled to open on this year's Christmas Day but has been pushed back to May 10 of 2013.
While set in the 1920s, it features music from rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West and indie singer Jack White.
