Another wealthy French businessman is leaving the country, this time heading to London. Alain Afflelou owns a chain of opticians with 1,200 branches in nine countries.

He says his decision to move is not about avoiding new taxes on the wealthy but is related to UK expansion plans. Recently actor Gerard Depardieu
moved to Belgium and handed back his French passport.
