Nick Jonas Live "Empty Chairs at empty Tables" at Les Misérables 25th Concert at London O2 arena.
Thought Nick did a great job. His pop background had made his rendition relevant to my generation (but not too munch) and I can relate/connect with the way he performed. Nick kind of made this song his own and relevant to today's context.
I have also heard Michael Ball version. Great voice good singing. But to me its just another great retention. What matter most is if the artist and song can touch you, can you relate to them.... its not about perfect vocal in my opinion.
I believe there are people out there who will strongly disagree and comment Nick is not musical trained, cannot hold a note etc..Michael Ball rendition be better etc. I agree. I truthly believe Michael Ball rendition has touched many like Nick's connected with me. thus its very subjective. no bad comments welcome but constructive comments are welcome.
Considering the age of Nick Jonas and his limited or no musical background, Nick Jonas to spare with the West End Kings and Queens. All in all, Nick did a great JOB and we should give him credit for it and not just look at the "bad" side if any. In fact he is a bit un-derated in the event.
Anyway, Well Done Nick!!! BRAVO !!!
