In Australia, the cyclone which left a trail of destruction across north-eastern Queensland, is losing power. Yasi, one of the most powerful storms ever recorded, ripped through houses leaving thousands homeless. Two people are missing, but there are no reports of deaths or injuries. The cost of repairs is likely to be in the billions.
