Edward is delivering some cattle cars to the market, but some disgruntled cows break through a fence and derail the last few cars. Edward, however, remains blissfully unaware of this until Gordon and Henry tease him about the incident. A few days later, Gordon is pulling the Express when he is stopped by a cow on the line. Henry, all the passengers and both crews try to send her away, but nothing works until Percy delivers the cow's calf to the bridge and the contented cow and calf trot away. The two big engines keep the adventure to themselves, but Edward hears and teases them in the shed.
