An Australian man is lucky to be alive after a car crashed into his house in Melbourne's outer east suburb and landed on the bed in which he had been sleeping moments before. Demitrios Bisbelis got out of bed briefly about 2 am on Friday morning to use his computer in another room, when a car came crashing through his bedroom. Police said that a car driven by a 52-year-old hit a median strip on the road, became airborne and ploughed through a fence before crashing into the house. The driver and a male passenger, also 52, suffered minor injuries. They were taken to Melbourne's Frankston Hospital in a stable condition. The two men will be interviewed by police.
