The oil giant BP is planning to install a new cap on the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico by Monday. However, oil will once again temporarily gush into the sea as engineers begin the process of replacing the existing containment device. The Deepwater Horizon rig exploded in late April killing 11 people. Considered the worst spill in U.S. history, the ecological disaster has caused damage to marine life and vast coastal areas.
