Days after its suspension, the employees and management of Kingfisher Airlines will be meeting in Mumbai on Monday (Oct 22) at around 2 pm. One pilot and one engineer from each operational base from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore will attend this crucial meeting after the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) suspended the flying licence of the airlines on Saturday (Oct 20). Nearly 5000 employees have been left in the lurch without seven months salaries. The DGCA suspended the Scheduled Operator Permit (SOP) of Kingfisher following its failure to come up with a viable plan of financial and operational revival.
