Prof Dr N N Murthy, Noted HRD Expert, Academician, Scholar & Human Rights activist spoke on importance of National Integration at Hyderabad on 23 June 2010. He was delivering a keynote address during Seminar on National Integration organized by Y'Mans International & Navbharat Nirman Sangh jointly.
He explained how national integration is disintegrating due to regional interests, more and more regional activism limiting to few districts throughout country. India is emerging as developed nation with strong economic progress and steady growth of GDP. When country is progressing, regional interest disrupting the national interest and also progress. Some times these regional forces have become threat to internal security of the country. People should things at large interest and broad spectrum he stressed.
People must live in the country with harmony, brotherhood, religious tolerance and with out any regional imparity, Prof Murthy pointed out. National Integration is the need of the hour for the country as country want to divide further in to parts.
He is Secretary General of International Benevolent Research Forum, Founder Secretary of Jagruthi Kiran Foundation and Director of Jagruthi Kiran Consultants. Gifted speaker delivered lectures, talks on varied subjects in Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Dubai, Sharjah, Iran, Germany, Belgium, Austria and Nederland's. He is adviser in many countries to Governments, companies and Visiting Professor in several universities across globe. UNESCO designated him as Messenger for Culture of Peace in 2003 recognising his work.
He is highly qualified with 29 degrees from 21 universities (Limca Record 2008). He has received Outstanding Young Person of the City by Jaycee International, Special Appreciation from Nelson Mandela for Poetry, International Peace Prize from USA, Cavalier from Belgium King, Albert Schweitzer Medal (Spain), Kentucky Colonel by Governor of Kentucky State, USA and many honors world over. He has got honorary degrees "Vidyavachaspati", "Vidyasagar" and a title "Saraswatiputra".
