Each has its own virtues, the Otter box is great, and offers full protection, while being more bulky, but the other rubberised case is softer and thinner, it doesn't offer as much protection, but it is a trade off. The screen size of the S3 is the main reason I bought it, as it is much bigger than my wife's Apple 4S, and also bigger than the Apple 5.
