Breakout pop star Carly Rae Jepsen was all smiles on the red carpet, celebrating the release of "Kiss," the singer's debut album in the U.S.
Jepsen, who burst onto the music pop scene with the success of her smash single, and song of the summer "Call Me Maybe," called the launch party a big night.
SOUNDBITE: Carly Rae Jepsen, saying (English):
"I feel extremely lucky. If I had asked myself two-years ago if this could ever happen to me, I would not have believed it. So, I feel like that tonight is the night that I get to celebrate the hard work and the great opportunity. My family is here, so it is going to be a pretty special night."
The album, which dropped on September 18, is made up entirely of songs Jepsen had a hand in writing. This fall Jepsen will also be heading out on the road with Justin Beiber, who helped jump-start her career in the U.S. after tweeting about a song he heard on the radio.
