Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has been supporting the UPA from outside, but he added a sudden twist yesterday (Sep 20), unilaterally announcing the formation of a Third Front. With either him or Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) Chief Mayawati holding the trump card to the UPA's survival after Trinamool's withdrew support to the Government, Mulayam's latest announcement has only added on to the Government's troubles. Is Mulayam trying to bait the UPA, bail them out or is he simply bargaining for himself?
