Security is fragile in Lebanon, where sectarian anger from the conflict in neighbouring Syria has spilled over in waves of deadly violence between Shias and Sunnis. But Pope Benedict XVI's three-day visit was welcomed by calm, with even members of the armed Shia movement Hezbollah attending his welcoming ceremony.
