Thousands of Guatemalans are returning to their homes after being forced out by a series of volcanic eruptions.

More than 30,000 people were ordered to move to safety southwest of the capital Guatemala City when Volcan del Fuego spewed rivers of bright orange lava.

But many face further hardship when they go back.
