Among the actors were "Ishaqzaade" lead Arjun Kapoor and Bollywood actor Imran Khan took timeout from shootings to appear in a traditional black outfit teamed with a white stole.

The surprise was Olympic boxing champion Mary Kom, sashaying down the ramp in a fuchsia traditional suit for the fashion show. Nita Ambani, who is known for her philanthropic initiatives, also walked the ramp.

Bollywood directors also took part in the cause. Among the directors were "Golmaal" fame Rohit Shetty, "Jab We Met" director Imtiaz Ali and choreographer-actor turned most "Wanted" director Prabhudeva.
