Every year, hundreds of members of Britain's ethnic minorities die waiting for organ transplant operations.

It is because they need donors from their own ethnic groups.

Though they make up 8 per cent of the population, only a tiny fraction are registered donors.

Shamim Chowdhury went to the UK city of Birmingham to find out why.
