Pakistan's president says he will go to Chicago for a NATO summit on Afghanistan, which is an indication that Pakistan may be willing to reopen the coalition's supply routes into Afghanistan.

Pakistan blocked the routes in November in protest over a US air raid that killed 24 Pakistani troops.

The closures, a consequence of a major dispute between Pakistan and the US, have also affected Afghan citizens' lives for the worse.

Jennifer Glass reports from Kabul, where the blockade has prevented some schools from receiving much needed supplies.
