A court in Bangladesh is set to hear evidence of war crimes committed during the conflict that led to the creation of the country in 1971.
About three million people were killed during that war, which lasted nine months.
It is the first time in the countries short history that evidence of war crimes will be brought before a judge, but there are accusations that the government is using the trials to round up the opposition.
