Cast of new Dallas series gather for London launch event.

"Dallas" the US hit TV series, is back and on Tuesday evening (August 21) both old and new cast members joined forces to promote the show in the UK.
Arriving to a Western-style red carpet in London, the city's iconic Tower Bridge served as the backdrop. Guests entered through a "Southfork Ranch" gate walking past horses, cowboys and cattle which had been put in place specifically for the launch event.
Returning to the role of Bobby Ewing after more than twenty years, actor Patrick Duffy said the UK had a special place for the "Dallas" cast.

"You're a big part of the reason we're around to begin with. Because the media adopted our show here first out of all the countries outside the United States. And I think because of that it caught on much faster than it might have not caught on."
All three actors, Duffy, Linda Grey and Larry Hagman are original cast members of the show which ran from 1978 to 1991 on CBS.
In the UK, "Dallas" will air on Channel 5 from September 5.
