As attacks between Israel and the Gaza Strip escalate, half a world away, would-be foes are lining up alongside each other in the name of peace and sport.
The squad, named the Peace Team and made up half of Israelis and half of Palestinians, has touched down in Sydney to play Australian rules football and compete in the 2011 AFL International Cup.
While the play is no triumph in terms of the score, it is not the winning but the participation that counts.
