He came in second place in Mexico's presidential race, but he is still fighting to have the election overturned.

Leftist Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has announced a plan to build public support for his case to convince to throw out the results of the July 1 election. He accuses his opponent's party of buying votes off of millions of poor people and using illicit funds in the campaign.

Al Jazeera's Adam Raney reports from Mexico City.
