Rihanna has opened up to Oprah Winfrey in an interview about career, family and Chris Brown. In the first clip released, a sobbing Rihanna told Oprah she felt protective of Brown after he beat her up more than three years ago and was concerned that everyone would think of him as a monster. The full interview will be broadcast on Sunday on Winfrey's OWN cable network.

Lisa Marie and Priscilla Presley led a candlelight vigil at Graceland to remember Elvis on the 35th anniversary of his death. Thousands of people participated in the annual memorial, which has been a tradition since the early eighties. This year marked the first time both mother and daughter appeared together at the event. The rock and roll icon died of a drug-related heart attack in 1977 at the age 42.

Bobby Brown has checked himself into rehab. His rep said the R&B singer checked into a "confidential rehabilitation center" last week as part of his agreement following his March arrest for drunken driving in Los Angeles. The 43-year-old singer is the former husband of Whitney Houston. Brown still plans to perform scheduled solo concerts and tour with his group New Edition. His first album in 14 years came out this summer.
