Britain has threatened to raid Ecuador's embassy in London if it does not hand over the founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange, who has taken refuge there.

Assange sought sanctuary after a court ruled he must be extradited to Sweden.

Britain's Foreign Office said they could revoke diplomatic status within a week and officers could move in.
