Unfortunately I found hardly any information about this bandleader who performed at the Multnomah Hotel In Portland, which was the home of Kenin's orchestra. The band, which had ten pieces along with occasional violin solos for the leader, lacked major soloists and its personnel was completely unknown. Nevertheless, both the musicianship was and the arrangement were excellent. This lovely record (unfortunately in worn shape) was made in 1929. Vocal by Ken Allen.
