A 13-year-old from America is the latest overnight pop sensation, after her debut offering went viral on the internet, with users reposting it and declaring it the worst song ever recorded.

'Friday' by Rebecca Black is a simple song about just that: Fridays.

And although it has made Black an international celebrity, and got her trending on Twitter along with topics like the Japan earthquake, its reception has also dented her ego.
