The Olympic Torch continues to make its way through London ahead of the start of the 2012 Games.
Tennis pro Andy Murray carried the flame into Wimbledon where he will later compete... and handed it off to fellow athlete Venus Williams.
Williams, already a gold medal winner, said she felt the Olympic excitement as soon as she landed in the U.K.

British actor Patrick Stewart also participated in the Olympic madness. He ran the torch through Croydon surrounded by students and fans.

The Star Trek actor, better known by this crowd for his role in X-Men, says it's a day he'll never forget.

" I've attended world premieres of big movies that have not had the excitement and the sense of pleasure and pride people are exhibiting today. The best thing is, today is the first day of school holidays, so all the children are around. It was thrilling. I shall never forget today."
