The wife of jailed Chinese Nobel Peace Prize winner Liu Xiaobo has used her Twitter account to condemn her house arrest as "illegal."

The online messaging service has become Liu Xia's last link to the outside world.

She's been confined to her home since Friday when her husband was awarded the prize.
