On June 7th, The Auld Spot Pub on College Street officially became The Hogtown Pub & Oysters, a Toronto gastropub for the “gourmand” – and it is truly that. Hogtown is a client of View the Vibe, so one might think I am biased… but no, I am not. At View the Vibe, we only talk about good places – if they’re no good, we keep our mouth shut. We were lucky enough to sample some of their new menu items a few weeks before the official opening and when asked if we could help with their official VIP/media opening party, we jumped at it because we were confident in who they are and what they are doing.
