Bieber Being Sued for Concertgoer Hearing Loss - as part of the news series by GeoBeats.

A Portland, Oregon woman is claiming that she endured severe hearing loss after attending a Justin Bieber concert with her daughter in July of 2010.

The law suit claims the damage occurred when Bieber climbed into a heart shaped gondola that acted as a sound conductor, and states, “Mr. Bieber created a wave like effect of screaming by pointing into various sections of the arena. Then enticed the crowd into a frenzy of screams by continuously waving his arms in a quick and upward motion, whereas I was struck with a sound blast.”

The concert going mom who is representing herself says that the decibel levels were unsafe and as a result she now has hearing loss and sensitivity to sound in both ears.

She's looking to collect $9.2 million dollars.

No stranger to legal woes despite his young age, Bieber was cited in July for speeding in Los Angeles, but claims he was trying to escape the paparazzi in his $100,000 chrome car.

In 2011, Bieber was the subject of a lawsuit that he fathered a child after a 2010 concert at age 16. The now 20 year old accuser has since dropped her lawsuit.

So what do you think – are his brushes with the law deserved or not?
