The Beatles had their greatest success in the 60's with Ringo Starr on drums. Yet he wasn't the first drummer of the Fab Four. That title goes to Pete Best, who, to his own frustration, had to leave the band just before recording debut album Please Please Me. English rock group Editors, who recently released their third album In This Light And On This Evening, appears to have a Ringo Starr of their own: Ed Lay.
