Typhoon Talim paid a short visit to Taiwan, leaving a path of destruction and three-meter waves. The city of Tainan in southern Taiwan also experienced flooding, with water rising up to knee-level. Typhoon Talim has moved on, but travelers are advised to avoid portions of Kaohsiung, Tainan, Pingtung and Chiaqyi due to landslide warnings.
