The recently released Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha starrer Rowdy Rathore might have made waves across movie-halls and set the box office registers ringing, but filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who considers Sanjay Leela Bhansali his protégé, claims that he is not happy about the latter co-producing a masala film.

Claiming that he was disappointed with Bhansali, Chopra was quoted saying, "I am not happy about it. He has worked with me for eight years and he considers me his mentor. I hope he comes out of it soon. Maybe this is some kind of revenge he is taking on the mediocrity that exists. He is seeking some kind of recognition and acceptance, and if its coming through this kind of cinema, then its sad!"
