A 7 year old child, Charlotte, encountered a brain hemorrhage in her sleep, after an easy going night of watching movies with her family. The young girl went into a coma and doctors were very close to losing hope. But when Adele’s song ‘Rolling in the Deep’ came on the radio and Charlotte’s mother began singing the tune to her, amazingly Charlotte began smiling and then two days later started speaking. She is now recovering at home.

In a similar unexpected recovery, Lori Smith, a married mom of 4, went into a coma minutes after giving birth to her youngest child. Dubbed, the ‘miracle mom’, she was in a coma for 56 days and was just about to be taken off of life support when her daughter said ‘Mom, if you love us and you hear us, move your eyes.’ which is exactly what Lori did and against all odds, is now home with her family.
