Moncton Fire Department responding to a call that there were people stuck in the mud of the Petticodiac River by White Frost Trailer Park just off the Salisbury Road in the West End of Moncton, around 12:30PM this afternoon. Firefighters made there way through the grass to the bank of the river and up came 3 teens covered in mud. They were not stuck in the mud but just down having a swim and playing in the mud. This is just up the river from where the causeway gates were opened earlier this year and people having been doing alot of tests of the water in this area and is suppose to be quite polluted.
The youths were all ok and only worried if they were in trouble for all the people that responded to the rescue.
Video aired on CTV news with Bruce Frisko.
