Listening to people talking, that witnessed this strange accident on Coverdale Road in Riverview around 2:10 PM that involved 3 vehicles, a couple of trees, and a sign, sent a woman to hospital with injuries. One man was saying how the vehicle flew through the parking lot, taking out a tree, hitting a curb and bouncing back into a parked vehicle and smashing into another vehicle before it came to a stop on Wedgewood and Coverdale. Gas pedal stuck he was saying and the vehicle was going about 50 and he couldn't believe nobody was killed . Codiac RCMP were at the scene along with 2 ambulances and a few vehicles from Riverview Fire Department. Raining lightly and roads were wet at the time of the accident. 2 tow trucks were needed to clear the busy intersection by the Superstore.
