Egypt's Supreme Constitutional Court has overturned the ruling that barred senior members of the government of former President Hosni Mubarak from standing for re-election.

The decision now clears the way for Mubarak's former Prime Minister Ahmed Shafik to stand in Saturday's run-off for the presidency against the Muslim Brotherhood's Mohamed Morsy.
