Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is the direct successor to the 2010 summer release of War for Cybertron and certainly made a splash at this year's E3 expo. While a majority of the media flocked to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 at Activision's booth, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron attracted an impressive audience and rightfully so. Delivering upon the success of War for Cybertron, High Moon Studios, developer of both War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron seeks to deliver and experience that exceeds the expectations set by their predecessor.
Taking place after the events of War for Cybertron with the Autobots struggling to defeat their Decepticon foes in battle for their home planet of Cybertron, Fall of Cybertron will deliver a more dark, grimy gameplay experience as its depicts the final battle between the two robot factions which results in the destruction of the Autobot's home world.
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is certainly a title to look out for when it launches August 28th, but until then, watch my interview with Matt Tieger, the Game Director of High Moon Studios.
