In Syria, new video has emerged which seems to suggest that opposition groups are arming themselves in the fight against government forces.

The footage shows members of the military coming under fire from some apparently heavily armed oppostion fighters.

This escalation in the fight for political change in Syria comes as reports of deadly clashes continued across the country.
