Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective from Capcom for the Nintendo DS. Ghost Trick is a terrific—albeit wordy—game with an interesting gameplay hook. The idea is...well, you're dead, to begin with. And in death, you have the ability to possess inanimate objects, making them move and shift in a variety of ways. You can also pass through time, and those two abilities make up the core of Ghost Trick's intriguing gameplay. You're basically playing the role of a posthumous detective who's trying to figure out what the hell is going on in this dreary, rainy city on this dreary, rainy night. You find yourself in a series of situations, and you have to work your way through them like a puzzle, changing the outcomes and most importantly, discovering why you were killed. This video review features video gameplay footage of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective for the Nintendo DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
