Lithium batteries overcharged at 150 Volts AC

Some 3 Volt Lithium batteries, type CR123A were subjected to a 150 Volts AC charge.
As no current limit was in force the batteries disintegrated very rapidly with some nice colourful effects, as the batteries vented.
A 230 to 152 Volts 1500 VA transformer was used as power source.
