The Australian states of Victoria and South Australia have issued "catastrophic" fire warnings as temperatures soar to more than 40 degrees Celsius.
There is concern that this year's bushfires could be worse than last February's, which left 173 people dead.
A year on, communities ravaged by those fires are still struggling.
