Turkish Airlines staff at Istanbul Airport called in sick on Tuesday to protest against a draft law which plans to ban airline strikes.

The airline cancelled more than 100 flights due to the industrial action.

Unions say the proposed legislation violates international employment laws and is unconstitutional.
