Ramzan Kadyrov, Chechnya's president, has vowed to oversee the investigation into the murder of Natalia Estemirova, a Russian human rights activist found dead of Wednesday.

Estemerova's colleagues at Memorial, the human rights group she worked for, accuse Kadyrov of being responsible for the activist's death.
