Horton International Leadership Series, an annual event was launched on Feb 29,2012 at Taj Lands End ,Bandra , Mumbai. The inaugural lecture was delivered by Mr. Jaithirth (Jerry) Rao on a rather invigorating topic “Transformational Leadership” which was delivered to a group of eminent business leaders and the Horton Partners.

Jerry as he is fondly called is a multi faceted personality – a banker, a marketer, writer, published poet, philanthropist and thinker besides being an extraordinary leader. After a brilliant stint in Citibank in India and abroad, he set up one of the greatest IT start up companies in India in recent times, Mphasis. Today he is focusing on value housing for people at the bottom of the pyramid; a laudable objective indeed!!
It required the greatness of such a personality , to draw extensively from the Arts and Humanities, more specifically the Old Testament and Shakespeare’s Henry the Fifth , to explain to an audience of hard nosed business people, how to transform the organization they work for. It was an unparalleled talk of such thought provoking dimensions that it left the audience spell bound.
A fitting start to the Horton International Leadership series which we promise to live up to in the years to come.
